She is survived by: her significant other Lucio Carrizal; her children, Marlene Rivera, Francisco Rivera Jr., Esmeralda K. Rivera and Ruby K. Rivera; and her siblings, Bulmar Villarreal, Jose Abelardo Villarreal, Juan Eber Villarreal and Maye Villarreal. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hernandez Funerals (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (101 E 3rd St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Paz Cemetery (3673 US-83, Rio Grande City, TX 78582).
