He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Hernandez and Juanita Cruz. He is survived by: his children, Jose Luis Hernandez (Judy), Noel Jesus Hernandez (Doralisa) and Diana Hernandez Canales (Erasmo); and his siblings, Raul Hernandez and Rosa Preston. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
