He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Garcia and Hermelinda Lopez Garcia; his wife Maria; and his sons, David Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Miguel Garcia III and Raul Ruben Garcia (Joelda).
He is survived by: his children, Idalma Garcia, Antonio Garcia (Pasty), Jesus Marie Garcia (Velma) and Eliamar Lopez (Bobby). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
