It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Elma Quiroz (Rio Grande City, Texas), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Crisostomo Garza and Eudelia Luera Garza; and her son Sabas Quiroz. She is survived by: her husband Onesimo Quiroz Jr.; and her children, Azalea Quiroz and Onesimo Quiroz III. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
