He is survived by: his mother Enedelia Zarate; and his sister Rebecca Rios.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Blue Chapel (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (107 Pvt Lazaro Solis St, La Grulla, TX 78548). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ruben Solis Cemetery (Longoria, La Grulla, TX 78548).
