He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Lucio and Virginia Alvarez Lucio; and his children, Horacio Lucio Jr., Sonia Lucio and Juan Manuel Lucio.
He is survived by: his wife Feliciana Lazo Lucio; and his children, Jesus Alberto Lucio, Angelica Lucio, Alma Ruth Lucio Garza (Ismael) and Edna Lucio Gracia (Lionel). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren his siblings, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.
