She is survived by: her siblings, Estefana Garcia, Ernestina Ortiz, Eulalia Flores, Esperanza Lopez, Elma Villarreal, Francisco Contreras, Feliz Contreras, Alejo Contreras Jr. and Juan Contreras. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Red Chapel (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
