He was predeceased by: his parents, David G. Vasquez and Manuela Anzaldua; and his son Oscar Vasquez. He is survived by: his siblings, Eva Senke, Leonor Michael, David Vasquez Jr. and Lupe Vasquez. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Blue Chapel (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (101 E 3rd St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
