She was predeceased by: her son Jose Ortiz. She is survived by: her children, Romeo Ortiz Jr., Maria Ortiz, Norma Juarez, Oscar Ortiz, Grisela Ortiz and Virginia Perez. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hernandez Funerals (701 E Eisenhower St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (101 E 3rd St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582).
