He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Canales and Micaela Armas Canales; his siblings, Julia Albarado, Jesus, Margarito, Ysidro, Jose, Alfredo, Encarnacion, Juan "Juanio" and Irene Jimenez of Austin; his wife Dora Torres of Uvalde; his son Roberto Armas Canales, Jr. of Rio Frio; his granddaughters, Micaela Elizabeth Canales and Lauren Elise Canales of Houston; his daughter Mary Jane; his son-in-law Donald Lambert of Uvalde; his granddaughters, Jessica Jane Rios of San Angelo, Chelsea Dora Yendrey and Britney Magdalene Bone of San Antonio; and his great grandchildren, Phoebe Jane Bone of San Antonio and Audrey Grace Rios of San Angelo. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
