He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Wayne Owen; and his parents, Emerson Owen and Virginia Owen. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Upchurch; his children, Debra Ewing (Ron) and Ronnie Owen (Barbara); his grandchildren, Jennifer Boen (Korey), Jason Ewing (Megan), Patrick Owen (Holli) and Krista Owen; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Colt, Emma, Julia and Sophia.
