He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Rice and Lydia Rasner Rice; his wife Carole Ann Campbell; his siblings, G. H. Rice and Daisy L. Person; and his niece Cherry Skinner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Blake (Reggie) of Hewitt, Debbie Poston (Joel) of Riesel and Melissa Fisher (Luther) of Robinson; his grandsons, Jason Blake (Susan), Zachary Burke (Laura), Austin Burke (Jennifer), Joshua Burke (Kristi) and Luke Fisher; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Caleb, Hendrix, Trajan, Astrid and Anberly; his girlfriend Gerry Suttle of Riesel; and his brother Joe Rice (Connie) of Riesel.
