It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley J. Buffington Jr. in Richmond, Texas, born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley J. Buffington, Sr. and Addie Prillman Buffington; his wife Lurene Neely Buffington; his children, Brian Buffington (Janice) of Weatherford, Leslie Throop (Tom) of Ponca City, Bradley J. Buffington of Granbury and Debra Stewart (Sam Richmond); and his stepson Phillip Neely (Dorothy) of Tomball, Texas.. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
