He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Green Berry Fondon, Annie Beth Fondon, Rudy Marilla and Julita Marilla Fronda; and his brother-in-law Donald "Donnie" Barela.
He is survived by: his parents, Roland Allen Fondon and Jeanne Marilla Fondon; his wife Maria Barela Fondon; his son Donnie Allen Fondon; his sister Julie Anne Fondon; his brother-in-law Mitch Cary; his nephew Zachery Allen Reyes (Melissa Gibson); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Glori, Zachery Jr. and Bliss; and his parents-in-law, Simon and Virginia Barela. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
