With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C. Cherry of Richmond, Texas, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert Cherry; and his stepfather John Wells. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Wells; his children, Dylan Michael Cherry and Bailey Marie "Miles" Cherry; the parent of his children Micleah Cherry (Kimberly Rearick); his siblings, John E. Wells, Jr. and Renee Johnson; and his close friend Kelli Roy. He is also survived by several nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Methodist Church (4600 FM359, Richmond, TX 77406).
