He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert E. Rodgers and Dorothy Vacek; and his brother Gilbert Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Judy Rodgers; his children, Ashley Gazaway (Michael), Lindsey Hasty (Blake) and Brady Rodgers (Virginia); his siblings, Ann Toppel, John Rodgers and Luke Rodgers; and his grandchildren, Hayden Gazaway, Makenzie Gazaway, Olivia Hasty, Eston Hasty, Bennett Rodgers and Sutton Rodgers.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (507 S 4th St, Richmond, TX 77469).
