He is survived by: his wife Elvira Luera; his children, Jaime Luera (Maria), Javier Luera (Susie) and Veronica Torres (Jesse); and his siblings, Maximo Luera, Adriana Hernandez, Minerva Guerrero, Frances Banda and Domitila Elias. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
