She was predeceased by: her father William Wesley Perkins; her husband Donald Thompson; and her siblings, Hazel McNamara, Wesley Perkins, David Perkins, Dryel Perkins and Corbert Perkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Person (Ed) of Richmond; her granddaughter Jennifer Wright; her great grandchild Karlee Wright; her sisters, Betty Wester and Elizabeth Storemski; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Perkins and Helen Perkins.
