He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Frank Startz; his grandson Corbin Startz; his grandparents, A. J., Nellie Wleczyk, Herman and Lena Startz; his parents-in-law, Lee Roy and Alice Tielke; his brothers-in-law, Rick Pettigrew, Troy Tielke and Gary Tielke; and his nephew Richard Pettigrew.
He is survived by: his mother Willie Mae Startz (Wleczyk); his child Thanksgiving; his wife Sandra Startz (Tielke); his sons, Dax Startz (Colette), Reed Startz (Darcie) and Ross Startz; his grandchildren, Kaylee Startz, Keegan Startz, Logan Startz, Gavin Startz, Graycen Startz and Brayton Startz; his sisters, Shirley Pettigrew and Linda Band (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Janette and Daniel Van Gossen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
