He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Poteet, Sr. and Jennie Wofford Poteet; and his wife Judy Ann Poteet. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Poteet (Shari), David Poteet (Maritza) and Deena Poteet (Vincent); his brother Ross Poteet, Jr.; his grandchildren, Nathan Poteet, Caleb Poteet, Travis Lanny Poteet, Carley Poteet and Lauren Poteet; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Lanny Poteet, Quinn Poteet and Astrid Poteet. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, along with extended family and friends.
