He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Malcolm Mathis, Sr. and Jonel Dodson Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Janice "Jan" Mathis; his daughters, Kristin Jo Mathis and Amy Elizabeth Bachmeyer (Chad); his sister Virginia Campbell (Ernest "Bud"); and his granddaughter Molly Elizabeth Bachmeyer.
