In loving memory of John Robert Long of Richmond, Texas, born in Wharton, Texas, who departed this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Long and Joyce Long; his siblings, Brenda Sue and Bill Long; his aunt Jo Gwen Underwood; and his son Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Long, Bobby (Sara) and Danny (Maida); his grandchildren, Lauren Long, Drew Long, Morgan Long, Nate Long, Will Long and Audrey Long; his brothers, Don Long (Laura) and Kirk Long (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Nancy Long. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home - West Columbia (634 S Columbia Dr, West Columbia, TX 77486). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Sweeny Cemetery.
