He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Kalmin and Nadezhda Kalmin; his brother Boris Kalmin; and his brother-in-law Victor Khohlov. He is survived by: his wife Svitlana Kalmina; his children, Elena Kolcheva (Alexander Lazorenko), Stanislav "Stanley" Kalmin and Tetiana "Tania" Kalmina (Joseph El Hajj); his granddaughters, Alina Kalmina, Alexandra El Hajj Assaf and Angelina El Hajj Assaf; his sister Nina Khohlova; and his sister-in-law Nelli Kalmina.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church (11935 Bellfort Village Dr, Houston, TX 77031). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookshire Memorial Oaks Cemetery (1699 Sturm Ln, Brookshire, TX 77423).
