It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Guadalupe Cortez of Richmond, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bacileo Cortez (Jim) and Maria Cortez; her siblings, Ernesto, Joe, Willie Cortez, Elena Vasquez, Delphine Guerrero and Benita C. Jasso; and her great grandchild Arnold J. Pompa.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Martinez (Rosario) and Eva Maria Reyes Godoy (Hector Garcia); her sister Emelia C. Chavez; her grandchildren, Sonia Rodulfo, Francisco Guerra (Fabian), Evangelina Guerra and Jim Andrew Martinez; her great grandchildren, Destany Garcia, Roland Rodulfo, Roman Rodulfo and Kaylyn Vidaurri; and her great great grandchild Evelyn McCauley Tobar. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
