He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Clyde and Nancy Booker Byrd; and his sister Barbara Byrd. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Mitchell, Ruth Henderson and Janice Byrd of Houston; his niece RaShanda Brooks (Jermaine); his nephews, Stephen Mitchell (LaTonier) of Cuero, Russell Henderson (Monique) of Katy and Quenton Byrd of Houston; his great-nieces, RaShanda Henson (Markeec) of San Antonio, Jazmyn Henderson of Houston, Isley Henderson of Houston and Amayah Brooks of Houston; and also, Jaylah Mitchell of San Antonio, Kaylah Zephyr of San Antonio, Jeremiah Mitchell of San Antonio and Kaden Todd of San Antonio.
