He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Jansen and Leah Jansen; his wife Philomena Walsh Jansen (Phyllis); and his siblings, Hantley Jansen, Thorald Jansen, Royale Jansen, Barney Jansen, Irma Jones and Leona Perumal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Erika and Jacqueline Breckon (Karl); his son-in-law Karl Breckon; his granddaughter Erika Breckon; his son Eric Jansen; his daughter-in-law Alicia Jansen; his niece Mary Kappel; his great-nieces, Maggie and Bridget Kappel; his great-nephew Patrick; his caregiver Karla Quinteros; his brother Joseph Jay; his sister-in-law Anne Jansen; his sister Denia Abeyasinghe; his sister-in-law Vera Jansen; and also David Kappel.
