It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Welch of Richmond, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Welch and Katie Welch; and his siblings, Lloyd Welch, Lewis Welch, Katheryn Lidwin and Maxine Benson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Welch of Richmond, Texas; his children, Cheryl Phillips (David) of Richmond, Bruce Welch (Cindy) of Sulphur Springs and Lynn Wilson (James) of Bristol Bay, Alaska; his grandchildren, Bess Edgell, Ethan Phillips, Cammie Copple, Katie Lange, Andrew Wilson and Stephen Wilson; his great grandchildren, Lane Upshaw, David Avery O'Rear, Wyatt Earl Edgell, Samuel Phillips, Jackson Phillips and Elizabeth Copple; and his grandsons, Cooper Welch, Avery Phillips, Rick Edgell, Wyatt Earl Edgell and Micah Copple. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
