She was predeceased by: her parent Salvador Pizzo (Arthur); her husband John H. Thomisee, Sr.; her parent Arthur Pizzo; and her siblings, Elizabeth Rothschild, Ethel Pizzo, Marjorie Pizzo, Eloise Seal, Joyce Jack and Arthur Pizzo.

She is survived by: her pet Caproni Pizzo; her children, Deborah Meisgeier (Steve) and John H. Thomisee, Jr. (Donna); her grandchildren, Nikki Long (Tim), Jarrod Thomisee (Michelle), Angela Thomisee, Christopher Meisgeier and John Meisgeier; and her great grandchild Ellie Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, or Lutherans for Life.
