She was predeceased by: her parents, Don E. and Mary C. Bauman; her brother Don W. Bauman; the father of her children Donald R. Mayo; and her pets, Kurt, Whitey and Zulu.

She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Unangst; her children, Justin Mayo (Jennifer) and Shannon K. Mayo; her grandchildren, Aidan P. Flynn, Ainsley S. Briggs, Helene Mayo, Owen Mayo, Emma Mayo, Karly Mayo, Jesse Tepera, Sara Butler and Matthew Butler; her siblings, Dennis Bauman, Marsha Bauman, Debra Rylander, Dawn Bauman and Mary Hall; her stepsons, Richard A. Unangst II and Bryan J. Unangst; her stepgrandchildren, Reid, Cole Unangst, Scarlett Hadley and Elijah Shababo; and her pet Ginger.
