She is survived by: her husband Darrell Eugene Hurst; her children, Anitra Jefferson (Ronnie), Darrell Hurst, Jr. (Kamla) and Damesha Hurst (Melvin Strain); and her siblings, Marlezeeties Jefferson, Eugene "Aaron" Jefferson (Barbara), Browdus Jefferson, Edward Miller, Michael Jefferson (Renee), Cassandra McDonald and Naomi Matthews (Richard). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family members and friends.
