He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus A. Sydow and Elsie E. Sydow (Matheaus); his son Mark Anthony Sydow; and his sister Gussie Kalmus. He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Doll" Drabek Sydow; his children, Alan Wayne Sydow (Kim), Connie Jo Muegge (Mark) and Dale Sydow; his daughter-in-law Sandra Jo Beard (Sidney); his grandchildren, Mason Sydow (Laura), Ashton Sydow (Ann), Dustin Sydow (Ashley), Katy Palermo (Robert), Hannah Muegge and Samuel Muegge; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Arkin, Jane, Dylan, Dalton Sydow, Maggie and Johnny Palermo; his godson Gary Drabek; and his sister Lena Filipp (Johnny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
