She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Alvey and Lizzie Fay Alvey; her brothers, Jesse Earl and Arthur Allen; and her husband George Batchelor.
She is survived by: her son George Bryon; her daughters-in-law, Lori and Lisa; her sister Lyn Buerger; her sons, Barry Batchelor (Lori) and G. Bryon Batchelor (Lisa); her grandsons, Bret (Rachel), Brandon (Becca), Blake and Bryce; and her great grandchildren, Bastion and Luca Bear Batchelor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association-North Central Texas Chapter in memory of Melba Batchelor.
