We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 87, Shirley Jean Coker of Richardson, Texas, born in Malakoff, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Paul and Fannie Dee Yates; and her siblings, Cecil Yates, Dorothy Willis, Aaron Yates, Jack Yates, Joyce Crawford, Kenneth Yates, Mildred Hill and Mickey Power.

She is survived by: her spouse Odell Coker; her children, Sharon Denise Moffett of Frisco and Alex DeWayne Coker (Cynthia) of Lavon, Texas; her grandchildren, Sean Mayfield, Amantha Banks, Shayla Locklear and Lauren Young; her great grandchildren, Connor Mayfield, Kaelyn Mayfield, Ryan Mayfield, Elijah Young, Hannah Young, Ezra Young, Logan Locklear and Josephine Locklear; and her sister Peggy Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many loving friends.
