He is survived by: his sister Carol Elaine Gilbert Ford of Bear, DE; his nephews, Captain Richard Donald King, III (Jen) of Lewes, DE and Jason Joseph Duncan (Jess) of Newark, DE; his niece Sherry Anne Marie VanHekle (Kevin) of Townsend, DE; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kevin J. VanHekle and Lee Axton VanHekle.
