It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Louis Rickel of Richardson, Texas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Louise Rickel (LeChein); his siblings, Mary Rickel, David Rickel (Cinda) and Dan Rickel; and his sister-in-law Marie Rickel (Robert Rickel).
He is survived by: his nephew Michael Rickel; his wife JoAnne; his children, Amy Drewery (Lonnie) and Dennis Rickel (Christine); his grandchildren, Emily Drewery, Gloria Drewery, Bailey Rickel and Aiden Rickel; his brother Robert Rickel; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Polsak (Frank) and Carol Slack.
