Margaret Bernadette Savoy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Bernadette Savoy of Richardson, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Rose Palermo Bennett and Frank Joseph Bennett; and her husband Joseph Savoy. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Williamson (Roger) of Richardson, Frank Smith (Michael Harkness) of Long Beach and Stephen Smith of Washington, D. C.; her stepchildren, Lisa Gonzalez of Buna, Stacy Guidry of Bridge City and Richard Savoy (Josephine) of Bridge City; and her sister Francene Sorrell (David) of Richardson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
