She was predeceased by: her parents, John Posivio and Leona Posivio (Klindt); and her husband Eugene Brownlee. She is survived by: her son David Schmid (Elaine) of Richardson, TX; her grandson Andrew Schmid of Richardson, TX; her siblings, Vicki Schmid of Hibbing, MN and Paul Posivio (Barb) of Calmar, IA; and her brother-in-law Donald Schaffer (Tom) of Windom, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
