She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Howell Hopkins, Jr.; her father John William Earl Schneider; her mother-in-law Lorraine Causey Schneider; and her brothers, Bill Schneider and Ted Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Howell Hopkins, III (Dorothy Gehring Hopkins), Matthew William Hopkins (Tammi Sobel Hopkins) and Paula Hopkins Wuerthele; her grandchildren, Amanda Hopkins (Laura), Robert Howell Hopkins IV (Michelle), Sarah Hopkins Palan (Luke), Reese Sutherland Hopkins (Kelly), Jennifer Hopkins Gladney (Justin), Ryan Scott Wuerthele and Paige Wuerthele; and her great grandchildren, Frances Palan, Walter Wolf Palan, Levi James Gladney, Grace Esther Gladney and James Quinn Hopkins.
