He is survived by: his brother Lou Zier (Bev) of Denver, CO.; his children, Karen Zier Stanton (Ted) of Plano, TX, Michael Zier (Robyn) of Southlake, TX, Jay Zier (Tammy) of McKinney, TX and Kandi Zier Patak (Bernard) of Plano, TX; his grandsons, Jordan Zier (Krista), Landon Zier (Brittany), Zachary Zier, Hayden Zier, Nathaniel Stanton, Preston Patak (Kerigan), Jacob Zier, Jackson Patak, Nicholas Stanton and Grayson Patak; and his great grandchildren, Caroline and Madeline Zier.
