He is survived by: his wife Pat Craven McDaniel; his children, Laurie McDaniel Holgate (Brian Edward Holgate) and David Kenneth McDaniel (Julianne Wilson McDaniel); his grandchildren, Neal Edward Holgate, Gail Holgate Priest (Jerrell "Bo" Robert), Kenneth Jeffery McDaniel and Melissa Marie McDaniel; and his sister Saundra McDaniel Smiley. He is also survived by 2 nieces and a nephew.
