She was predeceased by: her parents, York Hinman and Helen Wurl Hinman; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her husband Richard Reed of Richardson; her children, Anne Knowles (Steve) of Safety Harbor, FL, Carol Davis (Ken) of San Diego, CA and Mike Reed (Jan) of Menlo Park, CA; her sisters, Clare Mesmer (Joe) of North Platte and Jeannie Armstrong (Alvin) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Chris Knowles, Alissa Knowles Casanova, Alissa Bernstein, Patrick and Cybele Reed; and her great grandchild Mateo Casanova. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Richardson Adult Literacy Center, 701 W. Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75080.
