She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Aguilar Jr. and Concepcion Aguilar; and her siblings, Alicia Martin, Theresa Cuellar and Javier Aguilar.

She is survived by: her husband Dave Irvin; her son Jim Irvin (Pamela); her grandchildren, Dylan, Sydney and Carrington; her daughter Karen Durham (Shawn); her grandchildren, Isabel, Luke and Nora; and her brother Ramon Aguilar III.

The family invites memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society.
