She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gatlin and Willo Jones Gatlin; her husband Billy Stevens; and her brothers, Herbert Gatlin, Jr. and Demoy Gatlin.

She is survived by: her children, Kay Gilligan (Tim) and Clay Stevens (Jacquelyn); her grandchildren, Valerie Gartee (Michael), Maggie Gilligan and Michael Gilligan (Anna); and her great grandchild Sadie Manchaca.
