It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Plake of Richardson, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Plake and Blendenia Plake. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Ken and Scott; his daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Samantha; and his grandchildren, Macie, James, Daniel and Brian.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495).
