She was predeceased by: her parent Mrs L. A. Hanchett; her husband James W. Nance; her sister Marvel Buckland; and her grandsons, Chris Peterson and Brandon Youngblood.

She is survived by: her children, Marvel Peterson, Lou Nance and Alice Youngblood; her grandchildren, Jamie Peterson, Greg Peterson, Ryan Nance, Lauren Alvarado, James Nance and Megan Youngblood; her great grandchildren, Addison, Remi, Reese and Mark Jr.; her nephew Ted Oplinger; and her niece Tanya Miller.
