She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ferguson and Lydia Fuqua; her husband Patrick S. Phillips; her daughter Monica M. Phillips; her sisters, Patsy Ann Lewis and Darlene Vogler; and her siblings-in-law, Tomas C. Phillips (Nancy), Christopher M. Phillips and Teresa M. Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Patrick Gerard Phillips (Jennifer) of Houston and Kelly Phillips (Shaun Martinez) of Corpus Christi; her sister Linda Fay Hinze (Allan) of Brenham; her siblings-in-law, Malcome Phillips (Denise), Theodore Phillips (Sandra), Walter Phillips (Lea Ann) and Pauline Michno; her grandchildren, Caitlin Mitchell (Eric), Brandon Phillips and Faith Fletcher; and her great grandchild Layne Leeann Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
