It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glennon D. Johnson Sr. (Richards, Texas), who passed away on January 7, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Johnson and Eula Davidson Johnson; his former wives, Kitty Knebel and Lesta Burt; his sons, Sherrick Johnson and Glennon Johnson, Jr.; and his siblings, Homer Johnson of Otis Johnson and Annie Mae Kirchoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Johnson Wood (Ray, Judy Collette); his grandchildren, Julie Yargo (Johnny, Jimmy Asa) and Jordan Asa (Brandon); his great grandchild Cheyenne Flournoy of Dakota Yargo; and his great great grandchildren, Greyson and Sadie Claire Flournoy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
