She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaston Burt and Bessie May Knox Burt; and her son William Heacock. She is survived by: her husband James Brittain; and her children, Cathy O'Donnell and Lisa Gilliland. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
