He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rice Sloan and Ollie Etoil Ransom; his wife Zona; his children, Rice Dean Ransom, Jr., William Jay Ransom and Anna Kay Ransom; his grandsons, Jason Ransom, Jacob Ransom and Jackson Ransom; his great grandchildren, Hailey Ransom, Katelyn Ransom and Aloy Ransom; his nephew Ray Thomas Jr.; and his nieces, Cynthia Berkman and Debbie Klein.
