It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Carter of Rice, Texas, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Weatherford and May Luther Weatherford; and her brother Wayland Lee. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lindberg of Rice, Pam Lerman of Avery, Steve Knight of Avery and Jeff Knight of Tennessee; her former husband Herbert Knight; her sister Charlotte Weatherford; her grandchildren, Shane, Holly, Logan, Thomas, Alex, Rachel, Savannah and Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Cutter, Shyanne, Hannah, Decker, Skyla, Jaylin and Lexie Lee.
